I’ve been working on a commissioning project for a wastewater treatment plant in a rural area. The process of acclimatizing the system is currently in progress; the plant was designed to handle 1,250 m3 of wastewater per day, but in reality, about 200 m3 of wastewater flows in each day. The COD level in the incoming wastewater is over 100, NH3 levels are around 30, and TP levels are between 3 and 4. The effluent must meet Class A standards for urban wastewater discharge. It has been about one and a half months since the commissioning began, and the COD and ammonia levels in the effluent are still within acceptable limits. However, the total phosphorus level remains somewhat high. In the past couple of days, sludge from the secondary sedimentation tank has started to float to the surface, causing the effluent to become turbid. There hasn’t been much change in the quality of the incoming wastewater. I’m not sure what the cause is and how this situation can be improved I have only been doing debugging for a short time; I hope experts can offer me lots of guidance. . .
For the treatment of domestic wastewater in towns and villages, the mature A2O process is generally used. I’m not sure what process you are using?
