The gas pipelines in a certain factory are at atmospheric pressure; they were originally made of Q235A – can it still be used?
According to TSG D0001-2009, Q235A shall not be used for pipelines carrying flammable media.
At normal pressure, it does not fall under pressure pipelines; is it still necessary to comply with TSG D0001-2009? That’s how the owner asked; how should one respond?
If it can be avoided, then avoid it; it doesn’t save that much in material costs anyway
It is now stipulated that Q235A cannot be used; this is specified in the regulations for the safety inspection of pressure pipelines, and Q235B can be used when the pressure is not high
The normal operating condition of the pipeline is at atmospheric pressure, but the design must take pressure into account
