Pump mechanical seal issues

The medium in the centrifugal pump is water containing particulate powder; which flushing scheme for the mechanical seal is better, Plan 32 or Plan 54? Which is better, single-face sealing or double-face sealing? Some people have pictures of mechanical seals that have been removed from equipment in the field; I just can’t figure out their structure
If the specific gravity of the granules or powder is high, PLAN31 can be considered; if separation isn’t possible, then PLAN32 should be used. PLAN54 is intended for double-end mechanical seals, and double-end seals aren’t necessary for water-based media
Double-end face sealing and two-stage sealing aren’t the same concept, right? I’m using a Plan54 pump for my water pump, and some people say that the flushing method chosen is incorrect. How can I respond to such comments?
Double-end and double-stage sealing are certainly two different things; the choice between double-end and single-end sealing depends on your requirements regarding the sealing level.
In most cases, a single-face mechanical seal is sufficient for water pumps, while PLAN54 uses a double-face mechanical seal with flushing. Don’t you admit that you were wrong?
