The valves in the catalytic desulfurization line often experience internal leakage

At present, our catalytic unit discharges the catalyst from the bottom of the reactor; the discharge temperature is around 440–500°C. The valves used are made of Cr5Mo material, but they are severely worn due to exposure to the catalyst. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative valves or measures to address this issue? Thank you!
What brand of valves are you using now?

Catalyst wear is common. In addition to the material of the valve, attention must also be paid to its operation (keep it fully open on the upstream side, prevent blockages on the downstream side, and ensure it can be replaced easily after wear)
Take photos of the leakage points in the valve so that a detailed analysis can be conducted, which can improve the valve’s wear resistance!
