Specifications of nitrogen seal valve

There is a set of 2 tanks that require nitrogen sealing; the basic design specified a DN80 pipe diameter, and the detailed design used a DN80 self-acting control valve. It was found on site that this size was too large, resulting in various problems. What should be done?
So many problems; P;P is completely confused. The air supply volume is too high, right?:o
