When I was a child, I loved watching matches of the Chinese women’s volleyball team; China had Lang Ping, known as the \"iron hammer,\" and Cuba had the black athlete Luisa… The Chinese team won five consecutive championships. After that, I stopped playing volleyball and lost interest in it as well. Today, while I was talking with a client in the office, a colleague came in and said, \"I have some good news for you – the Chinese women’s volleyball team has won the championship.\" I slapped the table in excitement: We beat Serbia? They lost to them 0:3 in the group stage as well, but managed to win the final – that’s amazing. I watched the reports on the women’s volleyball final this afternoon; at times I was moved to tears. The Chinese women’s volleyball team is truly inspiring; let’s give them our applause and praise Lang Ping
