Small belt conveyors are specialized conveying machinery used in the food and pharmaceutical industries; they consist of a tensioning device, a loading device, direction-changing rollers, upper idler rollers, a conveyor belt, lower idler rollers, a frame, a cleaning device, and a driving device. In small belt conveyors, the conveyor belt can serve both as a load-bearing element and as a traction element; it must not only have a sufficient load-carrying capacity but also adequate strength. The conveyor belt consists of a core and a cover; the core bears the tensile forces, while the cover protects the core from damage and corrosion. The tensioning device of a small belt conveyor ensures an appropriate loose-tension at the drive drum, preventing the conveyor belt from slipping during operation. Ensure that the conveyor belt maintains appropriate tension at the feeding point and other locations along the small belt conveyor. This is to ensure the trough shape formed between the idlers of the conveying equipment, thereby preventing the material from spilling over the conveyor belt. The change in the length of the compensating conveyor belt refers mainly to the elastic elongation of small belt conveyors; it is the partial elongation that occurs on the conveyor belt due to changes in force or stress during startup, acceleration, or braking/deceleration. Once the applied force or stress is removed, this elongation can almost completely disappear. The structural elongation of small belt conveyor tensioning devices is mainly caused by the weaving pattern of the fabric rather than by the fabric material itself. In ordinary fabrics, when a load is applied, the bent warp fibers are straightened out, causing the conveyor belt to stretch; some of this stretching cannot be reversed. The permanent elongation of belt conveyors includes both the permanent elongation caused by the elongation rate of the basic fiber structure, as well as the partial structural elongation that cannot be reversed. Compensates for changes in the deflection of each section of the conveyor belt caused by startup acceleration, braking deceleration, or changes in the material being conveyed. To handle the incident, spare tape is used to replace the connectors, eliminating the need to use two connectors to attach a short piece of tape.
