Experts: When selecting steel balls, regarding the issue of their strength, is it sufficient that the compressive load on the steel balls under design conditions is less than their crushing load? Is it necessary to verify that the stress at the maximum cross-section of the steel ball is less than the allowable stress of the steel ball material? Thank you!
