What is the reason why the HP in the wastewater treatment oxidation tank is getting smaller?
High inlet pH, insufficient dissolved oxygen, and excessive load.
It should be PH at that time, right? It may be that insufficient dissolved oxygen creates an anaerobic or hypoxic environment in the system, which in turn stimulates the activity of acetogenic bacteria. It would be better to have more data for reference in order to make a judgment.
Could it be that a nitration reaction has taken place, consuming the alkalinity in the water and causing the pH to drop?
If the pH decreases, there are several possible reasons: 1. Acidic substances or wastewater enter the biological treatment tank, causing the pH to drop； 2. Hydrolytic acidification occurs in the biochemical tank due to anaerobic conditions, resulting in a decrease in pH ； 3. High ammonia levels in the water, along with high aeration volume, long retention time in the biological tank, and low organic matter concentrations, accelerate the nitrification process, resulting in a decrease in pH. However, the pH does not drop below 6.5 under these conditions.
Carefully check the pH value of the incoming water and compare it with the normal value
