It’s probably because your outlet valve is set too wide, which results in a fast flow rate of material in the pipeline and thus insufficient filling of the pipe. Which is your material feed pipe? Feed pipe?
This has nothing to do with distillation; it needs to be considered within the context of your process, taking into account factors such as pumps and valves
