Where exactly should the material be fed in

Thought experiment: A distillation column has 5 trays. Under normal operation, the concentration from top to bottom is 20% at the feed, 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% at the product. Now, for some reason, the concentration of the product leaving the bottom of the column is 58%. After several days, the cause cannot be identified. Since a batch of products needs to be produced and some materials are still missing, 40% of the necessary raw materials are currently available. I would like to ask everyone: in order to produce the products as soon as possible, is it better to feed these 40% of materials from the bottom of the tower or from the top? (There is no third feeding point other than the top and bottom of the tower.)

It is best to carry out simple process calculations. One cannot rely on imagination and feelings.
