Recently, fluctuations have occurred in the distillation tower; both the pressure and temperature at the bottom of the tower are above the specified levels. The pressure difference across the tower has increased from 0.03 to 0.05 MPa, and it is not possible to increase the tower’s load. Please help find a solution.
①Excessive content of heavy components at the bottom of the tower ② The tray may become clogged
Suddenly the pressure difference increased; I wonder if something got inside?
Either dirty substances or other materials have gotten in, or the components inside the tower have fallen out; the third possibility is flooding. For the first two cases, it is necessary to decide whether to suspend production based on the production conditions; for the last case, the change in temperature difference is used as a criterion for judgment, and the probability of such a situation occurring is very low
The pressure at the bottom of the tower is proportional to the temperature, while the pressure difference is proportional to the reflux flow rate. If the pressure difference is high but the load does not increase, it is very likely that the tower is blocked
Clogging: Replace the Lutecor filter element
Stay still, are you in the filter business?/
Is there a filter in front of your low tower feed pump? Does the outlet pressure of the low tower feed pump change when the tower pressure difference and temperature change?
The tray is most likely to become blocked; Regarding operations, another issue is pressure buildup due to the exhaust gas discharge; the pressure at the top of the tower and in the reactor increases, and the temperature rises as a result. Operators may increase the reflux flow at the top of the tower, which can further increase the pressure difference, even though the load is not high. Okay, thank you, the number has been saved! I took it apart to check it some time ago; mainly, a few trays at the feed inlet were blocked.
