There is a coalescing dehydrator in the factory, and the medium used is liquefied gas (C4). There is more than one type of material available for the filter elements in coagulators; the equipment should come with relevant documentation. If it’s not available, one can ask the designer or the manufacturer for it.
It can’t be an MTBE plant, right? In simple terms, a coalescing dehydrator works by causing small water molecules to combine into larger ones, thereby removing them from the C4 stream. Its structure is that of a filter element; nothing special about it.
