The hydrogen desulfurization tower in our unit’s gasoline hydrogenation process is experiencing oil carryover; sometimes the amount of oil carried over is high and other times it is low. We’re not sure why – please advise
The separator temperature is high. ? Is there no separation tank ahead?
The reason is that the inlet temperature of the circulator is high (above 40°C), so it is necessary to increase the opening degree or the number of air coolers in order to lower the temperature of the liquid separation tank and improve the separation efficiency.
The temperature after air cooling before entering the cold high-pressure section is too high. . . . There are usually some problems in the summer. Generally, in the design, it’s necessary to ensure adequate air cooling. . . .
