The EHA2400 has holes numbered 530, but the position of these holes is off by 100. How should this be dealt with? Are there any rules?
Such hole-making errors can only be addressed by contacting the design team to see if the issue can be resolved by adjusting the piping, thus accepting the current deviation in the hole positions. With such a large opening and an offset of 100 mm, it is not possible to use paired blind flanges added to this opening as a sealing solution. For smaller holes where the location of the opening is significantly offset from the correct position, it is possible to use blind flanges, but this also requires approval from the design team.
Can’t we just weld together the cut boards, then make holes for testing, and that will suffice for surface inspection?
Doing this won’t be accepted by customers; it’s flawed. If it goes undiscovered and no problems arise within the applicable period, then you can consider yourselves lucky.
