Regarding the selection of tail lugs

Table 10.1 of HG/T21574-2008 specifies the engineering lifting capacity for a single lug, yet the legend indicates that a set of lugs is used for lifting loads ranging from 75t to 200t. Does that mean that whenever lifting equipment weighing 75 tons or more is required, a set of lifting lugs is needed, and the specifications of each lug should be such as to meet the lifting requirements of the equipment? For example, if 150t needs to be lifted, would two lifting lugs with a nominal lifting capacity of 150t as given in Table 10.1 need to be used together to perform the lift? This often leads to the following problem: due to the influence of the foundation bolts, it is difficult to maintain a distance of 300–400 mm between the two lifting lugs. In such cases, can we increase this distance to around 1000 mm? Please, fellow forum members, share your opinions.
I’m not too sure about this; it’s just a guess. I think the distance between the two lifting lugs is 300–400 mm, probably so that the load is distributed evenly during lifting
If the standard requirements are not met, verification calculations are generally required.
