A pipeline leads into a storage tank; what is the relationship between the operating pressure of the pipeline and that of the tank, and what is the value of the design pressure?
The operating pressure remains the same; the design pressure (nominal pressure, pressure class) for pipes is generally set at 1.5 times that of the equipment.
Is the pipe size generally 1.5 times that of the equipment? ? According to which standard?
