Is there a water seal tube on top of the ammonia tank or urea storage tank that can help prevent odors from escaping? What is the principle?

As the title suggests, how can I control the pungent odor generated by the dissolution of ammonia or urea?

This post was last edited by ylb913 on 2016-8-8 at 19:42. There is a water column inside the U-tube, which acts as a liquid seal. The height of the liquid seal is designed with appropriate considerations in mind, including the design pressure of the storage tank as well as the conditions of positive and negative pressure. At least under normal circumstances, you cannot allow the water column in the U-tube to bulge out; instead, it will be drawn in.
Is there something like a liquid seal that requires regular water replenishment?
