Due to the process characteristics of coking, coke powder is carried along by the desulfurization system, which results in a pressure difference in the desulfurization tower; as a consequence, the desulfurizing agent cannot settle, or the amine solution may foam. In severe cases, this can lead to plant shutdown. Are there any effective methods to remove the coke powder contained in dry gas and liquefied gas in advance? Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and communicate with one another.
Build more towers to facilitate easy switching for cleaning.
Currently, our desulfurization agent is cleaned using an online filter with rich liquid for backwashing and a bag filter with lean liquid for regular cleaning; dry gas and liquefied gas also pass through filters before entering the desulfurization process, but the effectiveness of this approach is poor.
