Can the outlet of the pipeline pressure relief safety valve installed to prevent overpressure of the medium in the pipeline be discharged on site? The pipeline is relatively low and is basically laid close to the ground. A small safety valve is installed on the pipeline. The outlet has not yet been installed with pipelines. Is it possible? Or are there any relevant regulatory requirements?
Whether it can be discharged on site is related to the properties of the pipeline medium.
Compressed air, nitrogen, inert gas, steam, water and other harmless media can be discharged on site after taking safety measures.
The medium is liquefied gas. If required, wouldn't it have to be 3m higher than the equipment within the 8m range? Does the safety valve on a pipeline also need this requirement?
The new environmental protection law does not allow the direct discharge of combustible and flammable materials into the atmosphere.
Liquefied gas must be discharged in a closed manner. Generally, it enters the low-pressure gas pipe network and gas cabinet.
It seems that the method of entering the cabinet or pipe network is not common. I have seen that several factories vent the liquefied gas storage tank directly through the safety valve. It seems like no one is in charge.
