In ASME B16.9, does the wall thickness refer to the end groove area or throughout the entire thickness?

Excuse me, I’m not very familiar with ASME standards. In B16.9, does the wall thickness refer to that at the end grooves, and is the minimum value guaranteed to be 87.5%? Is this requirement applicable everywhere in general? Because in another post I saw that in ASTM material standards, t refers to the thickness at the joint, but he didn’t provide the source
The wall thickness referred to is the nominal wall thickness, namely the nominal wall thickness of the ports as well as that of the middle section. . For example, in the case of 7.11, the nominal wall thickness of any part of this fitting is 7.11; the reduction in thickness shall not exceed 12.5%, which means that the actual thickness at any point cannot be less than 7.11*0.875=6.22 mm.
