Are there any limits on the temperature difference when mixing working fluids at different temperatures? ? Are there any corresponding standards?
It depends on the process requirements. The standards can’t be that specifically detailed; regulations are meant to set standards for general situations. So how are process requirements determined?
But there must be a reference standard when designing, right? Just like with water as the working fluid: if the pressure is the same, and the temperature in one branch is 160 degrees while it’s 80 degrees in another, can the fluids merge in the main pipe? Could it cause vibrations in the pipes or lead to brittle failure or something like that? ? ?
