Is the equipment flange of a horizontal container located between the saddles?

The flanges of horizontal container equipment are generally located between the head and the cylinder. But now there is a piece of equipment that, for various reasons, requires its flange to be installed between two saddles. Over time, the bolt holes wear out, causing the saddle bolts to not be in the same plane – could this have an impact on the installation? :L
The saddle part is installed first and then remains fixed; this should not affect installation. However, its poor positioning can impact piping and subsequent operations.
If the screw holes don’t align, lifting equipment can be used to make adjustments

Are the bolt holes in the equipment flange worn, or are it the bolt holes in the saddle? I didn’t understand the question
