Reasons for the color change of sulfuric acid

I would like to ask fellow sailors: recently, the acid fume coming from the outlet of the 98% sulfuric acid storage tank has turned milky white. What could be the reason for this? The acid temperature is 40°C, the acid concentration is 98.3%, and both the acid concentration and color at the outlet of the second absorption tower are normal. Thank you.
Is it making acid from smelting flue gas? May I ask about the configuration of the smelting furnaces (such as what type of furnace is used for melting and what type is used for blowing)?
It must be a problem with impurities. How is the sample you analyzed?
The NOx content in the finished acid is not high; if it were any higher, the finished acid would turn red. The white substance is a precipitate of ferrous sulfate.
