When used in PVC polymerization plants, inhibitors and emergency quenching agents serve different purposes; what is the purpose of using them together?
Nonylphenol is a free radical scavenger used to eliminate active free radicals in VCM； The emergency terminator (α—**ethylene) can quickly kill the initiator and active free radicals ； Its function is basically the same; can it not be used as a polymerization inhibitor?
Why not? Can you explain?
