Does anyone know if a turbidity meter needs to be installed on the outlet pipe of the quartz sand filter? What does a turbidity meter look like? Can it be measured directly? I still need to test it in the laboratory. If I don’t understand, I need help from an expert.
Check it out on Du Niang to see if it’s available. We have not used a turbidity meter and will test SS regularly. Backwashing is based on the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet.
If there is an activated carbon filter behind the sand filter tank at the RO inlet, the RO membrane has relatively high turbidity requirements.
Whether or not a turbidity meter is needed depends on process control needs.； The turbidity meter can be measured online. Currently, the photoelectric analysis method is mostly used, which measures turbidity based on the light passing through the water sample. Commonly used brands for water treatment include HACH, E+H, and GF.
