Although the main steam pipeline of the boiler has been regularly inspected, following the explosion of the Dangyang boiler, it is considered advisable to find another qualified company to conduct a magnetic particle inspection on the main steam pipeline. Is this possible? ? ?
Just find a non-destructive testing company with the appropriate qualifications; however, using magnetic particle testing isn’t very useful – it’s better to opt for radiographic or ultrasonic testing!
It is recommended to take X-rays; the problem in Dangyang is a hidden defect left over from the installation process, so magnetic particle testing is not very useful in this case.
