Soon after, he died of hunger beside the empty fish basket. The other person continued to walk towards the sea, carrying his fishing rod and enduring hunger, taking slow steps forward. But when he finally saw the blue ocean not far away, he ran out of all his remaining strength; he could only pass away with endless regret. There were two more hungry people, who also received from the elder a fishing rod and a basket of fish as gifts. But instead of going their separate ways, they agreed to search for the sea together. They would cook just one fish at a time. After a long journey, they arrived by the sea, and from then on they made a living by fishing. A few years later, they built houses, formed their own families and had children, as well as their own fishing boats, and led happy and peaceful lives.
