Hastelloy is currently under consideration as the material for the insulation layer. The medium used is heat transfer oil, with a temperature of 260 degrees. Properties of the material: It operates at around 250 degrees. When the temperature drops below 100 degrees, the material becomes clumped and hard; at 200 degrees, it takes on an oily consistency. The main chemical component in this material is sacubitril benzene. The primary processing step is distillation in a tower. Before distillation, the concentration is 85%, while after distillation it drops to between 8% and 10%. At a concentration of 6%, the material is a viscous liquid at high temperatures, but turns into a solid at room temperature, similar to asphalt.
This post was last edited by 1070273960 on 2016-9-8 at 16:32. Why use a magnetic pump? Is it absolutely necessary to prevent any leaks? Our twin-screw pumps should be able to handle that. Also, will the flow components made of 304 or 316L materials get corroded?
Screw pumps are absolutely not suitable; 316L is also not good enough
You can send the requirements and technical specifications for your pump to several large manufacturers of magnetic pumps; they will provide you with reasonable suggestions for selecting a suitable model based on your needs.
