I live in Langfang, near Beijing. My family’s rural home is about to be demolished; the land area is 420 square meters. The real estate developers are offering three different apartment options: 80 square meters (a two-bedroom unit), 100 square meters (a compact three-bedroom unit), and 130 square meters (a three-bedroom unit). For any additional area up to 10 square meters, the price is 8,700 yuan per square meter; for areas exceeding 10 square meters, the price is around 13,000 yuan per square meter. It’s also possible to sell the extra space to the developers at 8,700 yuan per square meter. I’d rather pay more to get one of these apartments, but I’m not sure which option to choose among the three. I’d like to hear the opinions of those from Sichuan...
Personally, I think a wider size is more comfortable and convenient to live in; 130 is quite suitable...

But can demolition be calculated in this way?

It’s most important to enjoy life; under no circumstances should one sacrifice oneself. If you have the means to live in a larger place, why not?
