Some valves come in long and short versions as specified in the standards; for example, butterfly valves of grade CL300 and above, as well as those with double flanges, are available in both long and short sizes. I’m not sure how to choose between them – if anyone has experience with this, I hope they can share it!
We are the manufacturer; we have molds for valve bodies of both lengths, and we will produce whatever the customer needs. . . But when choosing, it’s not really clear what to use or how long to use it. . In practical work, considering cost factors, short series are used more frequently. .
