What is the lowest starting pressure for a centrifugal circulating hydrogen compressor?
With a centrifugal compressor, there’s no need to worry about low pressure when starting it up; the inlet opening should not exceed 3% during startup, and the outlet as well as the anti-surge device should be activated
Look at your compressor performance curve chart. I’m afraid the traffic will be low.
It doesn’t matter whether the pressure is high or low; as long as the return lines at the inlet and outlet are open before starting up, so as to maintain equal pressure at the inlet and outlet, the inlet valve should be left slightly open while the outlet valve is fully open. The return lines and the anti-surge systems should also be set to automatic mode. After starting up, gradually increase the opening of the inlet valve and close the return lines, being careful to prevent surge conditions. Personally, I think it has nothing to do with the level of stress.
