As the title suggests, is there a difference between atmospheric pressure storage tanks and atmospheric pressure metal storage tanks? If there is a difference, what is it? Are there any corresponding standards? Recently, when classifying the units, the two were separated, but there was no basis for it – it was a arbitrary decision. I seek answers from experts

So are the metal storage tanks on the skirt base considered atmospheric pressure storage tanks?
It’s simply a metal tank that is installed on a pedestal and placed on site; it doesn’t have a foundation like large storage tanks, and it’s welded in place at the site
Storage tanks with a skirt usually don’t have very large capacities; 100 to 200 cubic meters would already be considered quite large.
I’m not sure; buckets, wine barrels, and things of that kind made of PVC material could be considered atmospheric pressure storage tanks as well, right?

I guess your organization classifies them as atmospheric pressure metal storage tanks and atmospheric pressure non-metallic storage tanks.
