After the MTBE plant was repaired and restarted, there were significant fluctuations in the temperature of the catalytic distillation tower, and the yield of M was also low. What could be the reasons for such fluctuations?
Is the tower pressure stable? You mean the temperature fluctuations of the sensitive plate, right?
There isn’t enough information to determine it; is the output low? So what are the main by-products? Is the C4 isobutylene content in macaques also above the limit? What is the reactor conversion rate? It’s not necessarily related to the tower; it’s possible that the heat exchanger at the bottom of the tower or where the material is discharged from there is filled with catalyst. In other words, the catalyst inside the reactor or tower may have leaked out. Rapid heating could also cause problems with the trays in the tower. There are many possible causes in total, and I’m not sure exactly what it is
