Your question is too general. The valve seat of ball valves is related to low-temperature conditions. Hard-sealing surfaces are generally suitable for such applications (but one must be careful of separation and failure due to the different rates of thermal contraction between the surfacing material and the base material). For soft-sealing materials, PEEK, RPTFE, PCTFE, PFA, DEVLON, MOLON, PA12, POM, and UHMWPE can all be used at temperatures above -40°C. At temperatures ranging from -100°C to -40°C, DEVLON, MOLON, and PA12 POM can no longer be used. At temperatures between -196°C and -100°C, only UHMWPE and PCTFE are suitable. This is what I know
