I have been working in the chemical industry for five years, and valve failures occur quite frequently during daily operations. These are mainly valves with manual controls; some have damaged handwheels, some have valve stems that break due to excessive force applied, and some fail to close properly as a result of improper use. Due to the large size of the device, there are many types of valves. Simply put, there are automatic valves, solenoid valves, and manual valves. There are a huge number of issues, and it’s difficult to properly monitor each valve on site as well as to find effective ways for supervision and maintenance. For example, creating tables for tracking valves and their maintenance records could help. Do those of you working in the chemical industry have any good ideas? Or how do you manage things in your departments or work teams? I’d appreciate any advice you can offer! ! !
