For the designed rotary diaphragm atmospheric deaerator, superheated steam at 0.3 MPa and 200°C is used for heating; however, repeated adjustments fail to achieve the design temperature of 104°C. Why is that? Please ask an expert to help solve this, thank you.
It is caused by inadequate preheating of the demineralized water; generally, the demineralized water should be preheated to above 95 degrees.
The first is the low feed water temperature of the deaerator. Second, check whether the pressure of the deaerator is appropriate.
The temperature of the incoming water is 62°C.
62 degrees as the inlet water temperature is a bit too low. Although your steam temperature is 200 degrees Celsius, your pressure is only 0.3 MP. Do you think it’s possible to raise the temperature of that water from 62 degrees to over 100 degrees? Even if it is possible to achieve this, a large amount of steam will be consumed, which goes against the principles of energy conservation and reduction of waste. Therefore, you need to increase the temperature of the feed water. I don’t know what medium is used for heat exchange with the feed water, but you must ensure that thorough heat exchange takes place between the feed water and that medium. Here, the temperature of the feed water to the deaerator is around 85 degrees, while the temperature of the deoxygenated water produced by the deaerator is just over 103 degrees. Another thing to keep in mind is that a higher feed water temperature isn’t always better; too high a temperature is not conducive to deoxygenation. I hope my answer is helpful to you :)
There is too much desalinated water at low temperature, or the temperature of the desalinated water is not high enough.
