China’s petrochemical coking industry saw the first use of domestically produced high-temperature four-way valves. At 11:30 on June 10, 2014, Guangzhou Petrochemical’s No. 2 coking unit successfully completed the switch over to using these four-way valves, shifting production from the southern coke tower to the northern one; this marked the successful deployment of Guangzhou Petrochemical’s first domestically produced high-temperature four-way valve.
