I have a question regarding galvanized pipes!

The outer wall of a seamless galvanized pipe has a raised line that resembles a weld; once the zinc coating is removed, it indeed becomes a seamless pipe. Is this line formed during the galvanizing process?
It might be the zinc that flowed during galvanizing

Galvanized pipes come in both seamless and welded types.
Then show the previous image so everyone can see what the seams of the galvanized pipe look like
There is a wire inside, but it hasn’t been tested; it was always thought to be a weld in the pipe. If you have already tested it, then it’s a residue from the galvanizing process
I searched on the Internet, but really couldn’t find any such images. However, I have indeed seen this phenomenon occur; the manufacturer explained it as a problem with the manufacturing process. Reason for the flow: Such lines have some irregularities

This post was last edited by altpage on 2016-10-4 at 18:43. Zinc-coated pipes do indeed usually have a seam; it was thought in the past that they had seams, but it was later discovered that this is not the case.
Galvanized steel isn’t coated; it’s a hot-dip galvanized pipe. It shouldn’t be called a seam, but rather a protrusion
