Are there any safety hazards with horizontal heat transfer oil boilers, where the heat is absorbed in the header?
In terms of safety, the main consideration is that the metal temperature of the shell tube walls must not exceed the maximum allowable temperature for the metal material; for 20G steel, this temperature is 425℃
In heat transfer oil boilers, the flow velocity in the header is low; the header being heated makes it prone to slag formation, posing a safety risk
