Regarding the issue of the location of on-site solder joints

The project specifications for the current project explicitly require that the distance from the welding point to the steel structure, beams, and bracings must be no less than 600 mm. Considering this, it will actually increase the number of solder joints significantly. In the past, for projects 75-100 mm was usually sufficient; there was no need to consider bracing, only beams. Those who know the writing standards say it is to ensure welding space. So my question is: is it worth it to ensure sufficient welding space, which results in an increase in the number of welds on site, and many of those being large pipes with diameters of 36 or 42 inches? It’s okay; you can argue logically and negotiate with the owner. Not all wild boars are that fierce – if you explain things to them using the relevant standards and analyze the situation, they usually will listen. Unless it’s a wild boar from Southeast Asia.
