How to insulate and prevent freezing for ordinary magnetic flap level gauges?

As the title indicates, the magnetic flap level gauge is installed at the head end of the horizontal tank. There are steam heating pipelines at the bottom of the horizontal tank, but the construction supervisor said that not only the interior of the tank needs to be heated, but the level gauge as well requires heating. I understand that the level gauge is connected to the inside of the horizontal tank. Is it possible to cover the level gauge with insulating material only? Additionally, it’s necessary to expose the magnetic flip switch and the bottom drain plug. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences, or if there are any good suggestions?
There are factories that specialize in producing insulated magnetic flap level gauges
But it has already been installed on site, and the owner’s construction supervision unit has requested insulation to be added. What can be done?

It is used as insulation material; however, once it has been installed, it’s not easy to make changes to the level gauge itself, unless the device is sent back to the factory for modification. The insulation material can be changed quite easily.
