Methane pressure swing adsorption exhaust gas and factory area exhaust gas must be burned in boilers due to environmental regulations; the boiler has a rated evaporation capacity of 2 t/h, and a boiler room needs to be constructed. What are the safety distance requirements for such a boiler room? Should it be classified as a Class A facility, or as an environmental protection facility?
Boilers are classified as Class D; specific distance requirements can be found in the building codes
The fire resistance rating of the boiler room is Class D, but since it is a structure with an open flame, the fire separation distance can be determined based on this rating. It must be 30 meters away from Class A and B factories.
