How are tests conducted after the manufacture of the horizontal organic heat carrier boiler body is completed? 1. Which standard should be referenced? GB/T17410-2008 is not clearly written. 2. If a boiler is subjected to a hydrostatic test and water cannot be drained completely after the test, what should be done?
The standards specify technical requirements such as the test pressure and holding time, but they do not outline the procedures for testing boilers; these need to be defined in the factory’s process documents. In practice, however, no company formulates rules regarding how to drain water from the boiler – to do this, the boiler needs to be lifted and tilted to allow water to drain as much as possible, and high-power exhaust equipment can be used to assist with this process.
