As the title suggests, should an anti-static discharge device for the human body be installed outside or inside the protective dike of a tank farm? Which standard should be followed?
It’s outside; one must eliminate static electricity before entering the tank area.
One is installed at each entrance to the tank area outside the protective dike, and another one is installed next to the ladder of each tank.
It must be installed outside; static electricity must be eliminated outside before entering the explosion-proof area
HG20451 4.2.10 shall be installed at the entrance to flammable and explosive areas.
Ours is installed at the entrance to the tank area, outside the protective fence
