Questions about pumping in water

When a newcomer works with a new pump, water needs to be added during the first use. Is it to pour water directly into the pump’s inlet or outlet before connecting the pipes? If the pump pipeline is already connected, without disconnecting it, is there any way to add it? Both a self-priming pump and a centrifugal pump require priming water; I would like to ask the experts at Haichuan for advice.
Of course, water is introduced after the pipes are connected; otherwise it would be too troublesome. Generally speaking, pumps come equipped with a water inlet port. Ask the manufacturer where it is located
It functions like a priming pump; self-priming pumps generally have a priming pump exhaust port, and if none is available, water can be added through the outlet pressure gauge

Suction pumps have a water filling port at the pump casing, and the liquid to be added can be the same liquid that the pump displaces. For centrifugal pumps, exhaust is performed by opening the inlet and closing the outlet. Open the exhaust valve on the pump’s outlet pipeline until no gas remains and only liquid is present, to ensure that there is no gas inside the pump.
There is a simple method: open the inlet valve directly and keep the outlet valve closed, using the material as a medium to fill the pump chamber; once it is filled, start the pump and then slowly open the outlet valve.
