Personally, I think this option should be chosen. The specifications for electrical equipment in explosive hazard environments may affect the layout of the equipment, but we generally don’t give much consideration to this. After the process engineers arrange the equipment, the electrical engineers set up the electrical devices in accordance with these specifications. In fact, when arranging the equipment from a process perspective, one must take into account the placement of electrical devices; some non-explosion-proof devices are difficult to place in explosion-proof areas, and there is a significant price difference between explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof devices
Selection is something that must be taken into account when planning equipment layout: Zone 1 and Zone 2 for explosions. Try not to move the equipment across different zones; otherwise, the electrical explosion protection rating will have to be increased unnecessarily, which means the owner will end up spending extra money~
It seems that this professional exam is quite practical-oriented; it’s not easy to answer questions related to equipment layout if one has no experience with them. Unless one has seen similar questions before and memorized the answers, they will be at a loss. It’s clear that one needs to take this professional exam seriously and pay attention to everyday work practices and relevant standards, otherwise the registration fee will have been wasted~
