Could experts please advise us on what’s causing this issue? We’re new devices; logically, this kind of situation shouldn’t occur! Experts, please analyze it – what exactly is the problem? Under normal conditions, the daily dust amount is around 1.2 to 1.8 kilograms; however, in recent days it has reached about 3 kilograms per day. The sampling analysis results are normal, the equipment is operating properly, and there are no fluctuations in the operational parameters. No catalyst fragmentation was observed.
What kind of unit? 1.2-1.8 kg/m3? It’s not that scary, right?
What is the scale of the installation used by the poster? Which catalyst is being used, and what is its model? Also, regarding the dust amount of 3.0 KG you mentioned, in the dust analysis under the category of Fines, mass%, what is the value for #14 mass-%? How can one determine a problem just by looking at the weight? Moreover, the difference between 1.8 KG and 3.0 KG is not significant; if the dust analysis shows that the value for Fines, mass% #14mass-% is no more than 40%, I consider it appropriate. To reduce catalyst consumption, adjusting the washing gas to control dust levels without considering dust analysis, and blocking the central tube or the screen of the fan-shaped cylinder, can lead to consequences that are more severe than simply using a bit more catalyst. In the case of UOP technology, for dust analysis under the parameter \"Fines, mass%\", if the value of #14 mass-% is greater than 40%, it is possible to adjust the amount of washing gas; if the dust level remains high, then issues related to the process and equipment need to be considered.
Is there a problem with the filter of the recycling unit, causing an increase in dust levels? You can call the relevant parameters to conduct judgment and analysis!
Catalyst dust tends to stick to the walls, especially when the water content in the feed is high; this can result in a sudden increase in the weight of the catalyst dust. Check the proportion of whole particles and semi-particles in the analysis data, and then make adjustments
