What do 24V and 5V mean on the power supply module in a DCS?

Both 24V and 5V are the operating voltages for the DCS; 24V is generally used to power field instruments as well as for tasks such as reading DI inputs, while 5V serves as the operating voltage for the DCS’s internal processors
Thank you, expert. I would like to ask further: why does Zhejiang University’s ZHKong DCS system use a data forwarding card, while that of Allen-Bradley does not?
I’ve never used Allen-Bradley products, but it’s just a different name; Siemens doesn’t have something like this either
Siemens calls it the communication processor CP, right?
The functions are all the same, more or less; there’s a power supply, a processor, communication capabilities, I/O cards, and some models also have additional features such as firewalls.
I have worked with Zhejiang University Control Systems and Hilscher. Zhejiang University Control Systems has data forwarding cards, while Hilscher does not; however, this does not affect functionality. The data forwarding cards are provided in individual chassis.
The two approaches are different: ZK has a traditional structure, and its initial \"goal\" was Yokogawa; HLS uses the PROFIBUS at its upper layer, so no forwarding cards are required.
