NPSH, shaft power, flow rate, head, medium, remarks: 2m, 1.1kw, 3m³/hr, 32m, 160℃, water, diamine, ρ=1050, μ=1cp. The pump head is equipped with a jacket for steam heating; the steam pressure is 0.4MPaG at 150℃. I would like to purchase a centrifugal pump with the parameters listed above. Some suppliers recommend the IH type of pump, while others say that the IH type does not meet the requirements and suggest using a vortex pump. I would appreciate it if experts could help determine which type of pump would be suitable. Thank you! !
IH centrifugal pumps can meet the requirements. Replace the mechanical seal with one that can withstand high temperatures.

This pump is chosen as an IH pump partly because of its low flow rate and partly because of its too low net positive suction head. When the manufacturer presents you with a proposal, be sure to ensure that the NPSHr value required for this pump is below 1.4 m. With a vortex pump, there should be issues with the net positive suction head. You can ask about tangent flow pumps

Don’t be deceived, bro – for this temperature, a central support is recommended; as far as I know, IH models use bottom supports. This parameter is 25-200 (for API pumps) or 32-160 (for national standard pumps)

If it’s not obvious, you can specify it in writing when placing the order. In terms of appearance: the central support – the point where the pump casing is fixed to the base – should be at the same level as the center line of the pump shaft/impeller, in a manner similar to an airplane wing. Foot support: The pump casing is fixed to the base at the level of the base surface, just as if a person were standing on the base”
With such a simple operating condition, why go through such complexity? A vortex pump will do just fine
I’m not sure what standard pumps you use; for API pumps, OH2 can be used, and for ISO pumps, IH can be used. Pay attention to the NPSHr value
